One Call.
One Accountable Team.

Most renovation nightmares start the same way: too many subs, no one in charge, trades blaming each other. FAIME as your GC eliminates that entirely.

01

Single Point of Accountability

You deal with one person, one contract, one phone number. If something isn't right, FAIME owns it — not a sub you've never met.

02

Written Contracts, Always

Every scope of work, every change order, every timeline is documented in writing before work begins. No verbal promises that disappear mid-project.

03

Transparent Budget Tracking

We provide itemized budgets and track spend against estimate. You know where your money is going at every stage — no mystery invoices at the end.

04

Qualified, Verified Trade Partners

Our electrical and plumbing subs are licensed, insured, and WSIB compliant. We don't use handymen for licensed work — ever.

05

Schedule That Actually Holds

We sequence trades correctly and build buffer into the schedule for inspections and material delays. We don't overpromise timelines to win the job.

06

Post-Project Warranty

FAIME stands behind our work. Any deficiencies identified during or after handoff are addressed — no ghosting after the final invoice.

The FAIME
GC Process

A clear, proven process that keeps your project on time, on budget, and stress-free.

01

Discovery & Site Visit

We meet on site, walk the full scope, photograph existing conditions, and listen to your goals and budget. No obligation.

02

Detailed Written Proposal

You receive a full itemized proposal — scope, materials, labour, trade coordination, timeline, and payment schedule. All in writing.

03

Operations Fee & Pre-Construction

A 30% Operations Fee is collected to cover materials and crew mobilization. Site access confirmed, utility locates called in, and all prep work completed before day one.

04

Demo & Rough-In Phase

Demolition and rough-in coordination for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing — all sequenced to minimize downtime and maximize inspection readiness.

05

Finishing Phase

Drywall, tile, flooring, painting, moulding installation, and fixture installation. FAIME crews do the majority of this work in-house — no hand-off to strangers.

06

Final Walkthrough & Handoff

We walk every inch of the project with you before final payment. Any deficiencies are noted and resolved. You receive all warranty documentation.

Frequently Asked
Questions

A general contractor (GC) is responsible for the overall execution of a construction or renovation project. This includes hiring and coordinating all subcontractors (electricians, plumbers, framers, etc.), managing the project schedule and budget, procuring materials, and ensuring quality throughout the build. You have one contract with the GC and they are accountable for everything beneath it. FAIME acts as your GC on all full-scope residential projects.
You can manage trades yourself — and many homeowners try. But sequencing trades correctly, understanding what each trade needs from the previous one, and managing delays is genuinely complex. Most self-managed projects end up costing more due to rework, sequencing errors, and material waste. For any multi-trade project, a GC pays for itself in time savings and avoided mistakes. Let us assess the scope and show you what proper coordination looks like.
A single-room renovation (bathroom or kitchen) typically takes 3–6 weeks from demo to final finish. A full basement development takes 6–10 weeks. A whole-home multi-room renovation can run 4–6 months depending on scope and material lead times. We provide a detailed project schedule with your proposal so you know exactly what to expect before we start.
Yes. FAIME provides current WSIB clearance certificates before work begins. All our subcontractors are required to be WSIB compliant as well — we verify certificates before they set foot on your property. This is non-negotiable on every FAIME project.
