For Architects & Design Professionals

Built to Your Drawings. Finished to Your Spec.

FAIME self-performs the envelope and finishing scopes architects specify most: EIFS and stucco, sealants and flashing, painting and coatings, intumescent fireproofing, drywall to Level 5, tile and parging. We build the system, product and finish named in your documents, and document the job from first sketch to closeout.

FAIME Construction is a Woodbridge, Vaughan contractor that builds envelope and finishing scopes to an architect's drawings and specification across the Greater Toronto Area. About 80% of the work is done by FAIME's own crews: EIFS and stucco, sealants and flashing, painting and coatings, intumescent fireproofing, drywall to Level 5, tile and parging. Systems are installed to the manufacturer's published method, substitutions are proposed in writing, and every job closes with a photo record and a 2-year workmanship warranty certificate. WSIB Class G5, $2M CGL, trade scopes up to $2M.

From Your Documents to Closeout

Everything in writing, from the first quotation to the warranty certificate. See the documents we produce →

01
We price from your documents
Send the drawings and specification. The quotation is itemized line by line against them, so it can be compared with other bids. Where something is unclear, we ask before we price.
02
Your system, your products
We build what is specified, to the manufacturer's published method. A proposed substitution comes to you in writing first; nothing changes on site without approval.
03
Drawn and photographed
On exterior scopes we draw a concept elevation sketch before pricing, and every job is photographed in stages: before, during, anything found behind the finish, and after.
04
Walkthrough, closeout, warranty
A final walkthrough, a written deficiency list cleared before we call it done, then a closeout package with the photo record and a 2-year workmanship warranty certificate.

What We'll Tell You Up Front

  • Certifications: we install to published manufacturer method, but we are not an approved applicator or certified installer for any brand. If your project needs one, tell us at tender stage.
  • Building type: our self-performed scopes have no building-type limit, from houses and storefronts to schools, multi-unit and high-rise buildings.
  • Regulated trades: plumbing, electrical and HVAC go to licensed subcontractors, on residential and storefront projects only.
  • Not offered: structural work, new builds and additions, framing-only or demolition-only contracts, building or installing cabinets, and hardwood flooring.
  • Permits stay in the owner's name; we tell you what to request.

Questions Design Teams Ask

Do you build to the system named in our specification?+
Yes. We install the system, products and finish named in your drawings and specification, to the manufacturer's published method. The EIFS and stucco systems we buy most are Durabond and Sto, and our paint is Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore and Dulux, but where you specify a different system we build to that. If we think a substitution is worth considering, we propose it in writing, and nothing changes without approval.
Are you a manufacturer-certified applicator?+
We install to published manufacturer method, and our applicators are trained on the products we work with, but we do not describe ourselves as an approved applicator or certified installer for any brand. If your project requires a manufacturer-certified applicator, tell us at tender stage and we will confirm exactly what we can and cannot carry before anyone relies on it.
Can you provide insurance and WSIB documents for our client's procurement?+
Yes. FAIME is WSIB registered (Class G5) and carries $2M commercial general liability, with additional insured endorsements available. Certificates and WSIB clearance are issued on request, and the capability package (company profile, bid sheet and team) is available for prequalification.
What size and type of project do you take on?+
Trade scopes up to $2,000,000. Our self-performed work, painting, EIFS and stucco, sealants, drywall, tile and repairs, has no building-type restriction: houses, storefronts, low-rise and large commercial, schools, multi-unit and high-rise buildings. Plumbing, electrical and HVAC are handled by licensed subcontractors on residential and storefront projects only.
Can you work in an occupied building?+
Yes. Commercial and institutional work is regularly phased around occupants: after hours, overnight or across weekends, with low-VOC products in occupied areas and the staging agreed with you and the owner before work starts.
