The FAIME Difference

Most GTA contractors can't tell you who you'll be working for, what you'll be paid, or what your future looks like. We can.

Owner-Managed
You talk directly to Talha — the owner. No layers of management, no bureaucracy. If there's an issue on site, it gets handled same day. Your input matters here.
Real Pay, Paid On Time
Competitive hourly rates — shown upfront, not after three interviews. No games with your cheque. Bi-weekly or monthly payment, every time.
Landmark GTA Work
Our crews contribute specialty trade work to high-rise residential builds, ICI commercial fit-outs, and major condo developments across Vaughan, Toronto, Richmond Hill, and Markham.
Clear Path Forward
We promote from within. Apprentices become journeymen. Journeymen become lead hands. Lead hands become foremen. That's not a promise — it's our track record.

5% of revenue
Every commercial project you help us win — you earn 5% of the contract value. No cap.
What that looks like in practice:
$80K bid won
= $4,000 bonus to you
$200K bid won
= $10,000 bonus to you
$500K bid won
= $25,000 bonus to you
How This Starts
Month 1 — Trial
Work alongside us. We see how you operate — and you see how we operate. Honest evaluation both ways.
If It Fits — Contract
If it's a match, we sign a longer-term contract. Same hours, same structure, expanding scope as the pipeline grows.
Growth — More Wins
More bids going out = more jobs coming in = higher bonuses. Your earnings grow directly with FAIME's revenue.
What You'll Do
  • Monitor and respond to incoming bid requests, RFPs, and ITTs via email
  • Prepare and submit bids using tender platforms (Biddingo, BidCentral, BuildingConnected, etc.)
  • Contact suppliers by phone to get current material pricing
  • Calculate material quantities, labour hours, and overhead to build accurate project quotes
  • Send polished, professional quotes and bid packages to general contractors
  • Follow up on submitted bids and answer clarification questions
  • Coordinate with the owner on scope, trade breakdown, and pricing strategy
  • Keep a clean log of all active bids, deadlines, and outcomes
What We're Looking For
  • Experience with construction estimating or bid coordination — any level considered
  • Familiarity with bid/tender platforms (Biddingo, BidCentral, BuildingConnected, or similar)
  • Strong written English — professional emails and quote documents
  • Comfortable calling suppliers and negotiating for pricing
  • Detail-oriented with spreadsheets and basic math — quantities, unit costs, totals
  • Self-managed and reliable for the 4–8pm window — no micromanagement
  • Construction industry knowledge (tile, EIFS, drywall, painting, renovation) is a strong asset
Nice to Have
Experience with Buildxact, Stack, PlanSwift, or similar takeoff software. Background in GTA commercial or ICI construction.

What FAIME Offers

We put this in writing because most contractors won't. Here's what being part of the FAIME crew actually means.

Competitive Hourly Rates
Pay ranges posted upfront — no mystery after three rounds of interviews. Rates reflect your skill and experience, not our budget pressure.
Paid On Time — Always
Bi-weekly or monthly payment without fail. No chasing cheques, no delays, no excuses.
Tools & Materials Provided
All major equipment and materials are on FAIME. Bring your personal hand tools — we supply everything else on every job site.
WSIB on Every Single Job
You're fully covered under WSIB on every project we take on. No exceptions, no grey areas. Your safety and your family's protection matter.
Certification Support
We support trade ticket upgrades and paid training for crew members who commit to growing with us. We invest in your qualifications.
Year-Round Work Pipeline
No seasonal layoffs, no slow winters. Our GTA project pipeline keeps crews active 12 months a year across residential and commercial sectors.
Tight-Knit, Owner-Managed
Small enough to know every person by name. Large enough to deliver $2M-scope projects. You're not a badge number — you're the crew.
Crew Retention Bonuses
Crews that stay get rewarded. Performance bonuses, annual reviews, and first-pick on the most prestigious project scopes in our pipeline.

The Four Standards

01
Safety
WSIB compliant across every trade, every job. PPE required. Toolbox talks happen. Near-miss reports get acted on — not filed and forgotten. You go home the same way you arrived.
02
Quality
We don't cut corners — not on grout lines, not on basecoat thickness, not on finish level. Every tile, every seam, every coat is something you should be proud to put your name on.
03
Accountability
Show up when you said you would. Communicate when something changes. Finish what you started. That's the entire standard — and it's not negotiable at FAIME.
04
Growth
We track who's ready to move up and we act on it. Your career path here is real, not theoretical. If you build the skills and the reputation, you will move forward.

Hiring FAQ

Is estimating experience required?
Yes. We require a candidate with real construction estimating or bid coordination experience. Familiarity with GTA commercial projects, tender platforms, and reading scope documents is essential. We are not in a position to train — we need someone who can hit the ground running.
What does the 5% commercial bonus actually mean?
When you prepare and submit a bid for a commercial project and we are awarded that contract, you receive 5% of the total contract value as a bonus. There is no cap — if we win a $300,000 job, you receive $15,000. The bonus applies to commercial projects only, and is paid when the contract is signed.
Is this remote or in-person?
In-person. You will come to our office during the 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM window, Monday to Friday. You'll need your own computer and phone. Bid platforms and documents are handled digitally, but this is not a work-from-home role.
How quickly do you respond to applications?
Within 48 business hours. The owner reviews applications personally. If we're moving forward, you'll receive a direct phone call — not a form email. If not, we'll let you know clearly so you're not left waiting.
What happens after the 1-month trial?
If the trial works well for both sides, we sign a longer-term contract on the same structure — same hours, same rate, same bonus. If the pipeline grows and you're performing, we'll discuss expanding the scope and adjusting compensation accordingly. There's no ceiling here.
What bid platforms do you currently use?
We work with multiple GTA bid platforms including Biddingo and BidCentral — and we're open to adding more as the pipeline grows. If you've used BuildingConnected, Buildxact, Stack, or similar tools, that's a plus. We'll get you set up on whatever platforms make sense.
