• Project information: property address, type of work, budget range, project description
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited (via cookies — see Section 6)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

• Respond to your estimate requests and inquiries
• Schedule site visits and prepare written quotes
• Communicate about your project
• Improve our website and services
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. How We Store Your Information

Your form submissions are stored securely in our database hosted by Supabase (ca-central-1 — Canada region), protected by Row Level Security policies. Access is restricted to authorized FAIME staff only.

We retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law — typically no longer than 3 years after your last interaction with us.

4. Disclosure of Information

We will not disclose your personal information except:

• With your explicit consent
• To service providers who assist our business operations (e.g., email services), under confidentiality agreements
• When required by law, court order, or government authority

5. Your Consent

We do not treat sending us a form as automatic permission to do whatever we like with your details. Every form on this website asks you to agree, in plain language, before it will submit — nothing is pre-ticked, and you always see exactly what you are agreeing to.

• Consent to be contacted (required): you confirm we may use the details you entered to answer that specific request and contact you about it by email, phone or WhatsApp. Without this we cannot reply, so it is the one box you must tick.
• Marketing consent (optional, always separate): a second, unticked box asks whether you also want occasional project updates, trade guides or our newsletter. This is express consent under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Leaving it unticked has no effect on your request — we will still reply, we simply will not add you to any mailing list.

What we record. When you submit a form we store the exact wording you agreed to, which boxes you ticked, the page you were on and the date and time. We keep this consent record so that we can show, if ever asked, that you agreed — and so we can honour what you actually chose.

Withdrawing consent. You can withdraw either consent at any time by emailing info@faimeconstructioninc.com or calling (437) 313-6510, and every marketing email we send also carries an unsubscribe link. We action withdrawals promptly and record them against your consent entry. Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect an active project, quote or contract, where we still need to contact you to do the work you hired us for.

Automated assistants. Parts of this site can be filled in on your behalf by an AI browser assistant. The consent boxes are deliberately built so that an assistant cannot tick them and no form is ever auto-submitted — consent has to come from you.

6. Cookies & Tracking

Our website uses the following types of cookies:

• Necessary cookies: Required for the website to function. Cannot be disabled.
• Analytics cookies: Help us understand how visitors use our site (e.g., page views, referral sources). Only set with your consent.
• Preference cookies: Remember your settings and choices. Only set with your consent.

You can manage your cookie preferences at any time using the cookie banner on our website, or by adjusting your browser settings.

7. Your Rights Under PIPEDA

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Withdraw consent at any time (subject to legal or contractual restrictions)
• Request deletion of your information where no legal obligation requires us to retain it

8. Third-Party Services

Our website uses the following third-party services:

• Web3Forms — processes contact form notifications (privacy policy at web3forms.com)
• Supabase — secure database storage (privacy policy at supabase.com)
• Google Analytics 4 — website analytics, loaded only after you accept analytics cookies (see Google's privacy policy). Our fonts are self-hosted, so no request is made to Google Fonts.
• WhatsApp — messaging button link (no data transferred unless you click)

9. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. These include database Row Level Security (RLS), HTTPS encryption, and restricted admin access controls.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
