Quick answer: FAIME Construction follows a six-step process on every GTA project: a free on-site consultation, an itemized written proposal, a scope review meeting, a 30% Operations Fee at signing (covering materials and crew mobilization), managed execution with progress updates, and a final walkthrough before handover. Permits remain the client's responsibility — we advise on exactly what's required.
The Six Steps
Contact & Free Site Visit
We never quote blind. Reach us by phone, WhatsApp, or the website form and we schedule a free on-site consultation — we walk the space with you, take measurements, and assess existing conditions before a single number is written down.
Itemized Written Proposal
You receive a detailed written proposal with the scope broken out line by line — what's included, what's excluded, and a realistic timeline. No vague allowances, no surprises buried in fine print.
Scope Review Meeting
We walk through the proposal together, adjust the scope where needed, and answer every question. We'll also advise on any permits your project requires — permits remain the client's responsibility, and we tell you exactly what to ask your municipality for.
Contract & Operations Fee
Once the scope is right, we sign. A 30% Operations Fee at contract signing covers materials and crew mobilization, and your project is locked into the schedule.
Execution
WSIB-covered crews carry out the work with a single point of contact keeping you updated on progress. Sites are kept clean and workable, and any scope change is documented in writing before it happens.
Final Walkthrough & Handover
We inspect the finished work together. Any deficiency goes on a written list and gets resolved before we call the project done — the job isn't finished until you've signed off on the walkthrough.
How We Got Here
On the Tools
Our founder starts in the finishing trades — tile, stucco, drywall, paint. The hands-on years that still shape how FAIME approaches every scope: if you've done the work yourself, you know what good looks like.
A New Home in Canada
That trade experience arrives in the Greater Toronto Area — two years spent learning the local market, codes, and supplier network from the inside before putting a company name on the door.
FAIME Construction Inc.
Incorporated in March 2021 with WSIB coverage from day one. A deliberate model from the start: self-managed finishing scopes, licensed trade partners for electrical, HVAC, and plumbing, and everything in writing.
100+ Projects Across the GTA
Renovations, commercial fit-ups, exterior refinishing, and multi-trade projects delivered from Toronto to Kitchener — backed by $2M in commercial general liability coverage and a growing bench of trade partners.
Why We Work This Way
Everything in Writing
Scope, timeline, inclusions, exclusions, and any mid-project change — documented before work proceeds. Verbal promises don't build buildings.
One Point of Contact
You deal with the people actually responsible for your site — no call centres, no being passed between departments.
Covered & Compliant
$2M commercial general liability, active WSIB coverage, and ESA/OBC/TSSA-compliant work through licensed trade partners.
