Drywall and painting are the finishing layers that define how your home looks and feels. FAIME brings the precision and patience these trades require — no shortcuts on taping coats, no skipping primer, no thin paint on the final coat.
Hang, tape, mud, and sand — every step done to the specified finish level. Whether you need basic renovation drywall or a premium Level 5 skim for dramatic lighting, FAIME delivers it.
Premium interior painting with proper surface prep, primer, and two finish coats minimum. We don't skip steps that affect adhesion, coverage, and longevity of the finished paint job.
Exterior paint, siding touch-up, trim painting, and parging/stucco recoating. GTA weather demands premium exterior products and proper application — FAIME uses both.
Bad drywall finishing only shows up under raking light. Bad painting only shows up when the second coat goes on thin. By then the crew is gone. FAIME checks quality under every light source before the painter leaves.
Three coats of compound — tape coat, filler coat, finish coat — each dried fully before the next. Sanding between coats. No shortcuts that show up as ridges under flat paint.
Every surface gets the right primer for the application — drywall primer on new board, stain-blocking primer on water-stained areas. Skipping primer is how paint peels in 18 months.
FAIME specifies premium paints (Benjamin Moore, Sherwin-Williams) on every project — not discount product that requires three coats to cover. Better product, better result, better long-term performance.
Floors, fixtures, and cabinets are properly masked before any painting begins. We don't leave spatter on your hardwood floors or overspray on your new tile.
Not every drywall crew can deliver Level 5 finish — the full skim coat required for semi-gloss paint and dramatic lighting. FAIME has the plasterers who can do it right.
When drywall and painting are part of a larger FAIME project, coordination is built in — drywall doesn't go up until framing inspection is passed, painting doesn't start until tile grout is fully cured.
When existing exterior surfaces need to match — columns, trim, fascia, or stucco — FAIME mixes and applies colour-matched semi-gloss exterior paint that blends seamlessly with what's already there. No visible patchwork, no mismatched sections.
Drywall begins only after framing inspection is passed, all mechanical rough-ins are complete and inspected, and vapour barrier/insulation is in place. No shortcuts on sequencing.
Drywall hung with proper fastener pattern, correct board thickness for fire rating requirements, moisture-resistant product in wet areas, and perpendicular to framing members.
Paper tape embedded in first coat of compound. Filler coat applied and sanded. Finish coat applied, sanded to specified level. Corners and reveals finished crisp.
Full coat of drywall primer on all new surfaces. Spot primer on any repaired areas. Stain-blocking primer where required. Scuff-sanding between primer and finish coat.
First finish coat applied, allowed to dry fully, checked under raking light for holidays. Second coat applied. Trim and ceilings cut in by hand for clean lines at every intersection.
All touch-ups completed. Paint protection removed from floors and fixtures. Hardware reinstalled. Site cleaned and left ready for client final walk-through.
