Pricing & Estimates 3 questions

Do you charge for estimates?

No. Every project starts with a free on-site consultation followed by an itemized written quote.

Can you give me a price over the phone?

No — and you should be cautious of any contractor who will. Accurate pricing requires seeing the space. We visit the site first, then provide an itemized written proposal so you can see exactly what you're paying for.

What deposit do you require?

A 30% Operations Fee at contract signing. It covers materials and crew mobilization, and locks your project into the schedule.

Insurance, Permits & Compliance 2 questions

Are you licensed and insured?

FAIME Construction Inc. carries $2,000,000 commercial general liability insurance and an active WSIB account (Class G5 — Painting & Wall Covering Contractors / Specialty Trades Construction). Electrical, HVAC, and plumbing work is performed by licensed trade partners. Certificates are available on request.

Do you pull permits?

Permits are the client's responsibility — but we don't leave you guessing. During the scope review we advise exactly which permits your project requires, and all work is carried out to ESA, OBC, and TSSA requirements.

How Projects Run 3 questions

Do you use subcontractors?

Core trades — tile and flooring, EIFS and exterior, drywall and painting, kitchen and bath, general repairs — are self-performed by FAIME crews. Electrical is performed by licensed subcontractors led by a Master Electrician, HVAC by TSSA-licensed technicians, and plumbing by a Licensed Master Plumber, all under FAIME project management.

What happens if something changes mid-project?

Every scope change is documented in writing and approved before the work proceeds — no verbal change orders, no surprise line items at the end.

How does the project end?

With a final walkthrough. We inspect the finished work together, any deficiency goes on a written list, and it gets resolved before the project is closed out.

Company & Coverage 4 questions

How long has FAIME been in business?

FAIME Construction Inc. was incorporated in Ontario in March 2021. Ownership brings 15+ years of hands-on trade experience, building since 2009, with more than 100 completed projects.

What areas do you serve?

The Greater Toronto Area and surrounding regions: Toronto, Scarborough, North York, Etobicoke, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, Mississauga, Brampton, Ajax, Oakville, Burlington, Woodbridge, Kitchener, Guelph, and Muskoka.

Do you handle both residential and commercial work?

Yes. We serve homeowners, property managers, commercial clients, and developers — from condo and home renovations to commercial unit buildouts and repaints.

Can FAIME work as a trade partner under our GC?

Yes. We execute scoped trade packages for general contractors — tile and flooring, EIFS and exterior, drywall and painting, and general repairs — with unit pricing available through our contractor portal and documentation for prequalification on request.
