Every bathroom is different — layout, plumbing relocations, tile selection, and fixture grade move the number significantly, so we never quote blind. FAIME starts with a free site visit, then delivers a fully itemized written proposal covering labour and materials — no mystery numbers, no surprise extras.
In most GTA municipalities, a permit is required if you're relocating plumbing, adding an exhaust fan, changing the electrical panel load, or making structural changes. Cosmetic renovations (replacing tile, fixtures without moving anything) typically don't require permits. FAIME will confirm permit requirements for your specific scope during our site visit — permit applications are the client's responsibility.
During an active kitchen renovation, the kitchen is typically unusable for the majority of the project (3–6 weeks). FAIME sets up a temporary kitchen area where possible and sequences work to minimize downtime. For bathrooms, if you have a second bathroom in the home, the renovation can proceed without major disruption to daily life. If you have only one bathroom, FAIME sequences the project so critical plumbing is functional as quickly as possible.
